Camp Terms & Cancellation Policy

1. Organiser

The organiser is Freibeuter 2010 e.V., Modersohnstraße 55, 10245 Berlin, Germany, in cooperation with SKOK Academy.

2. Event and eligibility

The camp takes place on Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October 2026 at Palisadenstraße 76, 10243 Berlin.

The camp is intended for players in the U14 and U16 boys’ and girls’ categories who already participate in organised basketball.

The organiser may assign players to training groups in a way that supports safe and meaningful training.

3. Programme

Each camp day contains two training sessions: 10:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00. The period from 12:00–14:00 is Lunch & Recovery.

Lunch is not included unless the organiser expressly communicates otherwise.

The published programme describes the intended training concept. Coaches may adapt exercises, groupings and content to the number, age, level and safety needs of participants.

4. Registration and contract formation

Submitting the online registration is a request to participate. It does not by itself guarantee a place.

A participation agreement is formed when the organiser confirms the player’s place in writing or by email and, where payment is required before confirmation, the stated payment condition has been fulfilled.

The person registering a minor confirms that they are the player’s parent/legal guardian or otherwise authorised to register the player and accept these terms on the player’s behalf.

5. Camp fee

• Freibeuter members: €85.
• Non-members: €95.
• With a verified 10/10 Challenge: Freibeuter members €80; non-members €85.
• The challenge discount is granted only after successful verification of the submitted challenge evidence.
• Payment instructions and the due date will be stated in the registration confirmation.

6. Sunday FIBA 3X3 tournament

The Battle for the Heimathafen is scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 and is organised as an official FIBA 3X3 tournament.

Team registration for Sunday is handled separately from the individual camp registration.

The current camp page states that the tournament participation fee is included for camp participants. This does not by itself guarantee a place on a Sunday team; team entry and sporting eligibility remain subject to the separate tournament/team registration process.

7. 10/10 Challenge

To claim the challenge discount, the participant must meet the published 10/10 Challenge requirements, including ten consecutive made free throws, a continuous unedited video, the required Instagram tag/hashtags and submission to the organisers for verification.

A player or parent/guardian account may be used.

Submission for discount verification does not automatically grant the organiser permission to republish the video.

8. Participant responsibilities and conduct

Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions from coaches and organisers, treat other participants and staff respectfully, and behave in a manner consistent with safe sporting participation.

The organiser may temporarily remove a participant from an exercise or, in serious or repeated cases, from the camp where this is reasonably necessary for safety or the orderly conduct of the event.

9. Health, injuries and safety information

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing any information that the coaching team reasonably needs to know for safe participation.

Optional medical/allergy information in the registration form is processed only with separate explicit consent.

Participation in sport involves an inherent risk of injury. Participants must follow coaching and safety instructions and should not participate when illness or injury makes participation unsafe.

In an emergency, the organiser may contact the emergency contact and emergency services as reasonably necessary.

10. Personal belongings

Participants remain responsible for personal belongings brought to the venue. The organiser recommends not bringing unnecessary valuables.

Liability is governed by applicable statutory law.

11. Photos, videos and media

Camp participation does not automatically constitute consent to publication of identifiable photos or videos.

Where consent is required for identifiable media use, it will be requested separately and voluntarily.

12. Participant cancellation and refunds

IMPORTANT: The organiser must adopt and publish a concrete cancellation/refund schedule before registration opens.

Until that policy has been approved, no cancellation percentages or deadlines should be shown as final contractual terms.

13. Cancellation or changes by the organiser

The organiser may make reasonable programme, coach, timetable or group changes where necessary for organisational, sporting or safety reasons, provided the essential character of the camp is preserved.

If the organiser cancels the camp entirely, any camp fee already paid will be refunded. Further statutory rights remain unaffected.

If an event cannot take place due to circumstances outside the organiser’s reasonable control, the organiser will communicate the available options as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Statutory right of withdrawal

The camp is a leisure service provided on specific dates. Under § 312g(2) no. 9 BGB, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to contracts for leisure-related services where a specific date or period is agreed.

Any cancellation rights offered by the organiser are therefore governed by the cancellation policy above in addition to any mandatory statutory rights.

15. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable statutory law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for injury to life, body or health caused by negligence and liability for intent or gross negligence.

16. Data protection

Personal data submitted in connection with the camp is processed as described in the Camp Registration Privacy Notice and the general SKOK League Privacy Policy.
